Job 37: 6: “He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’”
I took this photo last Sunday at Elk Forge in Elkton, MD. I never cease to catch my breath at the beauty of freshly fallen snow.
His handiwork is full of wonder. He is, indeed, Lord of every season!
Happy Sunday!

Beautiful photo! His splendor is apparent in all creation. That seems like quite a bit of snow for Maryland.
It wasn’t that much, Trinity, but it did mean having to clean the car and bundle up. At least we’re not among those hard hit by Nemo this weekend!
As beautifully appreciated as His miracles … I do miss the fist snow fall, though not the cold

I hear you, Lea. Remember, I’m an island girl at heart, so I don’t do cold very well!
I’m always amazed that there re people who can look at the wonder He creates around us and still not see Him–
your eyes, however, your eyes are turned His way

Isn’t it crazy that people don’t see God in creation? Beyond belief! I love to see how he shows up in every season, in a special way!
I look at sunset on a clear day like that… I have no idea how people can’t see God everywhere in everything.

Agree fully, Eva. The evidence in His favor is insurmountable.
Yes, He is. And that is what we can count on when life changes and changes and changes again through our weather. We are on earth. HE IS KING!!
So very true, Joanne. HE is unchanging in the midst of the changes that we face.
This picture makes me miss the snow so much! I just recently moved down South and this picture really takes me back to the north.
