 Stay warm and safe, you guys in the Northeast USA!  A winter storm is the perfect setting for some good Saturday Soup.

Ah, let’s see what ingredients we can add to the pot this week… *rummages in Internet pantry*  Voila!

I adore this video’s unique take on first-world problems, as narrated by Haitians.  Sure makes us rethink how easily we label the most asinine inconveniences as “problems”!  

The Grammys are tomorrow night!  Kudos to first-time gospel and contemporary Christian music Grammy nominees Anita Wilson, Britt Nicole, and Kari Jobe.  Check out these brief interviews with  Britt and Kari on how they reacted on hearing that they had been nominated. 

Reggae icon Bob Marley‘s 68th birthday was celebrated in hearty Jamaican style in his homeland this Wednesday, February 6.  I remember the day he died as if it were yesterday.  For the entire Caribbean, and the world, it’s a loss we still feel today.  His music lives on, however!

Montell Jordan was known back in the 1990s for his hit song “This Is How We Do It.”   His moving conversion letter show us that he’s doing it waay different now.  Hallelujah!

 I learned a new term this week:  social artist ninja.  Are you one?  Maybe you should be!  

For those of us who take buying non-genetically modified organisms (GMOs) seriously, here are a few apps to help you stay on top of your GMO game.

I nearly passed out laughing at the rapping flight attendant, but hey, I’m sure he kept the passengers’ attention on that Southwest Airlines flight!
